Born in Orlando, but raised all over Florida, Slick has soaked up culture and life experiences from all corners of the state. From the inner cities of Orlando in which he spent his early childhood, to the fast-paced, gang-saturated streets of "Waste" Palm Beach (West Palm Beach), to his current residence in the Tampa Bay area, Slick has managed to remain grounded and carve out his own niche in the Entertainment Industry. Born out of a desire to play his own hip-hop recordings, Slick began interning at the Hillsborough Community College radio station, Hawk Radio WXYB around 2000. After quickly making new contacts with local deejays and musicians, word soon spread through local hip-hop circles that Slick would play local and unsigned artists' music, and soon after "The Hip-Hawk Hour" was created.

Already a talented and witty emcee in his own rite, Slick reunited with his childhood friends and began promoting their hip-hop group, Crimson Eye Society (aka C.E.S. Crew) around 2004. In the meantime, Slick began an internship with Street Laced Marketing and Promotions, that would eventually lead to a title and position with the company as "Vice President of Promotions". With Street Laced, Slick honed his street team and on-line promotional skills by promoting for Major record labels such as Sony, Interscope, Virgin, Def Jam, and the likes. With major events such as WLLD's "WildSplash" and "The Last Damn Show", and TJ's DJ's Music Conference/Award Show, and several large car shows to his credit, Slick has quikly gained a reputation in Tampa as a "go-to" guy in terms of Marketing and Promotions. These same skills would prove useful in promoting his own music as well. After releasing a full length album and two mix-tapes independently, the group put music on hold indefinitely to manage their personal lives.

In the later part of 2007, Slick joined RAPSOULUTION as a staff writer and contributor. In just 2 1/2 years, his stock rose and he was named Sr. Vice President of the 2-time "SEA nominated" publication. Around the same time, Slick also began contributing to Ozone Magazine by writing the monthly "Rapquest" column, covering all things "Tampa" related. In 2009, Slick began hosting a second radio show, this one at the University of South Florida ( USF), called "Pirate Radio Invasion". With 2 radio shows, 2 magazines, and live-event hosting skills to offer, Slick has evolved into a "Renaissance Man" of sorts.
Add his rhyming ability into the mix and other entertainers truly have to question themselves as to whether they are "WORTHI" enough!
